private investment group based in the Southern California
Performance Self Storage Group (PSSG) is happy to announce
it has recently sold Beacon Self Storage (3rd time) in Oakland CA located on 2227 San Pablo
Avenue. The property has excellent visibility from the 980 and consists of 62,125
net rentable square feet, with 954 self storage units. The property also
features multiple cell towers along with a billboard. The facility is
multi-story and at the time of sale was 70% physically rented.

Storage Group, represented both the buyer and seller. “The demand for this
asset was incredibly strong and we received multiple offers on the property in
a very short amount of time. Although the building is almost 100 years old,
buyers will line up to purchase a storage property anywhere located in the Bay
Area like this, in any condition and age. Right now there is limited inventory
of storage properties for sale in California and demand for this product type
is stronger than ever ,” Touhey said.

White Lane. The property has excellent visibility on White Lane and consists of
76,895 net rentable square feet, with 740 self storage units. All of the
storage units are located on the ground level and the property was built in
1982. At the time of sale, the facility was 77% physically rented. The new
owners plan to bring this older facility up to today’s standards and improve
